Poker After Dark Pot Limit Omaha
The NBC late-night poker show ‘Poker After Dark’ is adding pot-limit Omaha cash games to their series — a welcome addition to the top-flight production.
According to the blog of top online player Brian Hastings, who will be in the lineup, seven players will play PLO at $300-$600 limits, with a minimum buy in of $100,000.
Hastings will be joined by Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Phil Galfond, Patrik Antonius, Sammy Farha and Brandon Adams.
The new season of Poker After Dark begins Jan. 3, when NBC begins broadcasting 13 weeks of new shows. There is an emphasis on cash games, with only three freezeout tournaments and 10 weeks of cash games.
According to pokernews, the winner of the Howard and Suzie Lederer Charity Poker Tournament picks five pros to fill a table. Another sees Doyle Brunson take on five of the best young players in the game.
